Anna Książek

I graduated in Psychology (Master studies), Pedagogy (Bachelor studies) and Science about Culture (Bachelor studies) and I finished two one year professional courses of Coaching and Nonfiction writing.

I have collaborated with various international organizations like Ashoka, Amnesty International, Global Ecovillage Network or Scout movement as trainer, coach, researcher, project creator and coordinator.

In 2015 I co-founded the initiative ExChange the World within which for 7 years I travelled around the world collecting stories of changemakers. I did well over 350 interviews with changemakers in 40 countries. Based on interviews I co-created an unique methodology to prepare and empower people to become changemakers themselves. I used this methodology to run courses, webinars, workshops, presentations (eg. TEDx talk) and prepare educational materials for formal and non formal education.

As a trainer I have more than 2000 hours of experience, mostly with NGOs, but I collaborated also with public institutions and the private sector.

I speak Polish, English, Spanish and Italian.

I love travelling. Besides 7-years travel around the world, I did quite a few Caminos (de Santiago and not only) and reached a few significant peaks (like Mont Blanc or Kilimadżaro).

Since January 2023 I’ve been connected to Arterra Bizimodu ecovillage in Spain.

Topics of projects I realised: Changemaking, Women Empowerment, Social Entrepreneurship, Climate Change, Eco-villages and Community Living, Listening and Communication Skills, Global Education, Coaching, Personal Development, Human Rights, Regeneration

I like the most in my job: I like to create safe spaces where people can realise and fulfill their full potential, discover their personal values, passions, talents and dreams and use them to make this world a better place for all.

My Top Qualities:  facilitation of process, envisioning, making things happen

The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry – book which I have in at least 20 languages at home.

“When the body says no” and other books of Gabor Mate – for his unique approach to trauma.

Breath: The New Science of a Lost Art by James Nestor – for motivating me to learn to breathe properly
