Andrea Pucci

I have a natural science background (chemistry) and thus I consider myself a researcher as I try and apply the same approach throughout my professional trajectory. I’ve collaborated for several years with various organizations on topics related to ecology, self development, global education and changemaking. In 2015 I cofounded the ExChange the World initiative, whose motto is “Create your story; change the world”, meaning that self-understanding and self realization of the individual is essential in acting toward a better world.

Within this undertaking I had the chance to volunteer in dozens of projects connected to the environment, from food production and bioconstruction down to recycling and reuse of resources. So that, an experience at a time, I became involved in DIY and alternative agriculture. I did a PDC and a 4-month internship at the Austrian Forest Garden Institute.

I have worked as a trainer and facilitator in 20+ training courses for youth and adult education, developing my experience and understanding of group care and group processes.

Since 2023 I’ve been actively involved in men’s work, by creating experiential processes for young men and adults, either in person or online. I recently joined the Eraikiz association (Pamplona, Spain), which aims at working with men in pursuit of a more egalitarian and inclusive society.

I love slow travelling (hiking, walking or biking) and lingering in places till I feel like a local. And I’m passionate about team sports, in particular Ultimate frisbee for its lightheartedness and the ethos on which it is based.

Since 2023 I’ve been connected to Arterra Bizimodu ecovillage in Spain.

Topics of projects I realised: Changemaking, Men Work, Permaculture and Regenerative Agriculture, Social Entrepreneurship, Climate Change, Eco-villages and Community Living, Listening and Communication Skills, Global Education, Self Development.

I like the most in my job: I love the privilege of being present and allowed to assist people in their vulnerable and transformative moments.

My Top Qualities:  Patience, diplomacy, sense of humor

The name of the rose by Umberto Eco – because in that “temple of knowledge” I started to love books and reading

Sapiens by Yuval Harari – for a new perspective about the past

Science past science future by Isaac Asimov, or any other collections of his essays – for understanding to read the patterns that lead into the future
